Kiera holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University. She supports clients in being present with their experiences and navigating difficulties as they arise. Through a contemplative approach, Kiera brings awareness to the mind-body connection, helps uncover unconscious patterns, and explores different worldviews. She creates a safe, authentic environment where clients can explore their relationships and patterns using mindfulness and self-regulation techniques.
Kiera has a background in grief therapy, specifically with suicide loss survivors, and in addiction work. She enjoys helping clients navigate their thought patterns, emotional experiences, and relationships. By exploring childhood experiences and family dynamics, Kiera supports clients in making meaningful changes in their present lives. She strives to offer an unbiased, nonjudgmental space for individuals to reflect on their lived experiences and develop effective coping skills to improve their relationships with themselves and others.
Kiera’s approach is holistic, mindfulness-based, and client-centered, inviting clients to show up as their full selves in a brave therapeutic space. She feels honored to support clients in uncovering more healing, relief, and joy, believing deeply in the inherent beauty, strength, and dignity of all beings. With a compassionate lens, Kiera is committed to guiding clients on their inner healing journeys.
Kiera offers therapy online and in-person at her Boulder, Colorado location.
